Ah, fall-inspired prairie weddings. The warm setting sun that lines the prairie horizon, the golden fields and blooming sunflowers – it’s a magical time of year.

Those are just a few ways to describe the beautiful fall wedding of Sarah and Franco. This would have been the last wedding of the season for us and I will always remember all the little touches of perfection. Guests enjoyed the delicious taco bar while seated at long decorated wooden tables, providing a sense of community and family. This wedding was not only about Sarah and Franco but also about their adorable son. The golden hour sunset photos do not disappoint and showcase how gorgeous the prairie views really are.

Hurricane jars with pillar candles are my favourite way to utilize candles on the harvest tables. The candles are protected from a light breeze and add additional warmth to the tent.

Isn’t she so gorgeous!

Pictures of brides in the cottage are one of our highlights. I always look forward to the different ways the cottage is utilized, it creates the perfect backdrop for photos.

One of the highlights of a fall inspired prairie wedding is all of the sunflowers that are in bloom. That is the prime time to see them in their abundance and at their full height, some even reach up to 12 feet tall. Gathered is known for our sunflowers, we plant hundreds of them.

We love when we receive a photo gallery and there are pictures of the animals! Our goats are so sweet and love all the attention they receive on wedding days. It’s always a surprise how many of our couples take pictures with our animals, whether it’s the chickens or the goats. We always say the kids love the animals, but really the adults love them even more!
